Eugene Cherry: A Personal Story Of PTSD
Today, a Patriotic Mom sent me the story of Eugene Cherry, a former medic in the Army and another casualty of a the bloodless wound of PTSD. For the complete story, you can find it here.
It is painful for me to read these stories because so much of it hits home with me. I can truly relate to what Eugene has gone through and there are many thousands who feel the same.
I’m glad you had the opportunity to read this young man’s story. It is just more proof how many thousands of Service Members suffer with PTSD. It rears it’s ugly head in all strengths, lengths, and dimensions. It is not something anyone wants to have, but so many of us do. Living life day to day with PTSD is truly something that everyone who has it, or loves somebody who they think might be suffering from PTSD, should get help. It is helpful just to know if you have been diagnosed with PTSD, that you’re not alone.
